Chassin's for General Surgery Chassins effective strategy in the general surgery has the most
general and most substantial procedures with the schrittweiseen
effective technique(s) for use by each general surgery inhabitant on
any level. It covers fundamental and advanced Laparoscopy, choice of
the cut and reasoning, the knot binding and the seam strategies. As
inhabitants of the surgery PGY-2, which spends 1/3 of the yearly at a
busy private condition of the art "effective factory", where the
interned one lets sometimes approximately 4 days run to week and and
during the night you updesignate, are this a very useful leader. It is
also a simple read and excellent companion to each complete general
surgery text.
One of the best I've been practicing for 3 years now, and I still refer to this book. It's a very practical text with clear illustrations, good text, and potential pitfalls. It also includes "legacy" procedures -- those operations that don't come up too often, but you will still need to perform once in a while -- and it's nice to brush up on them.
I've got Zollinger, Sabiston, and a couple older atlases -- but this is my favorite.
Chassin's Operative Strategy in Genral Surgery- A Must Read I know that Zollingers and Sabiston are the standard reccommended
measured values. If you have the money, to go to in front and receive
it, but if you are on a budget like most inhabitants the one book, you
cannot exceed above are Chassins. It is free, present, the offers
fundamental points and explains general dangers. The diagrams and the
illustrations are marvelous. They are prepared definately for any OR
case, if you repeat this book before the night.
For surgical trainees Good books on effective surgery are difficult to find. This book
offers much freer understanding to the effective general surgery. The
detailed text is supported with useful illustrations. It describes
many of the dangers, which find surgeons in daily practice. The price
can be off putting, but to the serious surgical training, they see
this book as inestimable investment.
