It is very easy to read the book, it is large to help you include/understand processes of the disease.


Too Brief to Learn from
When I started to exert me in practice as regards family I sought a great reference work to the study of. I choose this text because one wrote to him so much well. The language is direct, the explanations are clear and the council is quite founded. Now that I am in the formation the book is not as useful as I hoped. The major part of time I find the treatment on any matter given too not very deep for what I must learn. I belive this is the result of a compromise between the size and the completness. I wish now that I save my money and bought three handbooks - Harrison, Williams and Nelson in opposition to the test to find a book to cover all medicine, obstetrics, and pediatry internal.


Excellent practical reference for nurse practitioners
This book is designed in a practical and understandable approach to family practice. It is an excellent text and a comprehensive reference especially useful for a nurse practitioner/graduate student in family practice. Not only does it provide treatment and management of common medical conditions but also includes psychosocial aspects of caring for clients and their families.
