The only significant criticism I can offer is that, for a book in this very high price range, it should have a more durable binding. It does have full cloth-covered hardback covers *but* the page section is only "perfect-bound" (i.e., pages held together merely with glue) rather than having a sewn binding. It seems to me that a ... book should have a sewn binding! I've noticed how most books classified as "textbooks" have such very high prices yet have rather cheap bindings. It's no wonder a college education costs a small fortune these days--- the textbook price alone is enough to drive one into penury, and even then the book(s) will eventually fall apart under very heavy use.

Anyhow, this book is wonderfully useful in its content and for that reason I recommend it highly.


It's difficult for self-studying person
I am using several business law textbooks for my self-study.Comparing to others,this book is difficult to understand.The selection of the Cases differs from others which makes me confused.Structure of the content differs too.It's a complicated book to understand for a self-studying person.


Adequate for the undergraduate college student

Awesome Law Textbook - Very Useful Out of School as Well
The law to the west of transactions is narcotic for the student of law of transactions. It introduces the topic complicated in a sense that can be understood. After reading it, I have thought that "all it would have to read this book," because it is applied to many situations we could face every day in the life. It supplies one more presentation deepened and more general than law that the greater part of the handbook of the university. If starved for information of the law (if wished to be a lawyer or not), you will be filled up from the material in the law to the west of transactions. My husband has a code category of law of transactions hour that uses an other handbook and not is comparison. I sorrow only that it has lost my law to the west of transactions when I was muovendosi, because is a handbook has had has wished to always maintain in order.


Excellent text book
I am a young entrepreneur. I took an introductory business law class to better understand the legal environment, and to avoid or at least minimize possible legal business problems. I found this text book very helpful. The language is simple & clear enough to understand as I didn't have any law background. I especially like the glossary and the index, it was very convenient helping me locate any terms or topics fast. Concept summaries at the end of each chapter was great. They have relevant recent and historic cases throughout the text. I will definitely keep this as reference. I receommend this book for anybody who wants an introduction in business law.
